A Big Thank You to the Lions Club! Today, the Lions Club partnered with medical professionals to provide vision screenings for our kindergarteners. Their dedication helps identify students at risk for vision issues early on, ensuring our little learners can see clearly and thrive! We are so grateful for their support and commitment to our community.

Fifth grade had their annual Veggie Tasting Party this week with Master Gardener Valerie Prax! Students learned about the different parts of plants we eat, like how broccoli is a flower, carrots are the root, and celery is a stem. They also got to “taste the rainbow” by sampling a colorful variety of veggies, including purple cabbage, red beets, yellow peppers, green kale, and white rutabaga. Many students discovered new favorites, and the fun didn’t stop there! Val brought salsa made with tomatoes from our 5th grade garden and muffins made with beets. A huge thank you to Val for creating such a valuable and delicious learning experience for our students!
