As we welcome a new season, "The Rack" is getting a makeover, and we need your help to restock! This valuable resource offers trendy clothing to high school students at MHS, and we’re excited to offer even better selections with your generous donations.
Current Needs:
-Men's Clothing (all sizes, all seasons): We’re especially in need of casual styles—think printed tees over polos and button-ups.
-Socks and Underwear (new only)
-Bras (new only)
-Shoes: For both men and women, all sizes are welcomed.
-Formal Wear: Prom dresses, shoes, suit coats, and ties.
Special Request:
We have an urgent need for a male student in size large tops and 34x32 in bottoms. He requires clothing, shoes, and underwear due to his family's current financial struggles. Your help could make a significant difference in his life.

Minnesota Dental Sealant Day was a shining success! Our team, along with dedicated dental professionals, provided sealants to protect the pearly whites of many of Mora Public Schools' students. The result? Many sparkly teeth and even bigger smiles!
Today, Mrs. Bursell’s English class embarked on an extraordinary journey back in time, to the days when quills and inkwells were the pinnacle of writing technology. Armed with quills, glass dip pens, and ink-filled fountain pens, our students delved into one of the oldest forms of writing, practicing their spelling words with tools that whispered tales of history.
Initially met with hesitation, every student was encouraged to at least try — and what unfolded was a transformation filled with delight and discovery! From skepticism to proclamation, one student felt as though they had stepped back into the Middle Ages, and by the end, there was unanimous enthusiasm for another voyage into the past.
With the sun shining bright and the great outdoors calling, Mr. Larsen decided to take learning outside the classroom walls today. It was a perfect day for a lesson on genetics, taught through the interactive and engaging world of Punnett squares—al fresco style!
Today's FACS class was a whirlwind of sugar, sprinkles, and creativity! Our talented students put their culinary skills to the test, turning ordinary cookies into extraordinary masterpieces. From colorful icing to imaginative designs, each cookie was a reflection of individual creativity and the joy of baking.
Our School Showcases History, Arts, and Athletics in Style! Three stunning new display cases, crafted by MCC Woodworks, were installed over spring break. These dedicated spaces will highlight our school's rich history, vibrant arts programs, and athletic achievements. Sometimes, the best way to learn is to pause for a little fun! Our 'Know Your Car' class took an unexpected turn today, proving that laughter really is the best fuel. Amidst learning about engines and tire pressure, we discovered a new use for traffic cones—fashionable headgear!
Vroom vroom! 🎈🚙 In Mr. Carlstrom's physics class, textbooks took a backseat as creativity and curiosity fueled a day of unforgettable learning. The mission? To use balloons to power cars – a test of ingenuity and understanding of physics principles in action. The curtain opens on Thursday, March 21st and runs through Saturday, March 23rd.

Big news from Mora High School! Thanks to the incredible generosity shown during our November and March blood drives, we've not only helped save lives but also earned a $750 scholarship from the Red Cross. This scholarship will be awarded to one deserving graduating senior this year!
We're overwhelmed by the support and participation from our students, staff, and community members. Your donations have made a significant impact, demonstrating the power of coming together for a noble cause.

Pine Technical and Community College is excited to announce the dates for the 2024 PTCC Summer Academy!
The PTCC Summer Academy is a three-day summer enrichment program for students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2024. The Academy will provide students with an in-depth and hands-on approach to explore future career options through project-based learning. Please see the attached flier and share with your students who may be interested. Space in each academy track will be limited to a maximum of 12 students. Students are encouraged to sign up to get on the "VIP" list to be the first to know when registration opens.
