The Mora Mustangs Special Athletics Bowling team participated in the Special Olympics State Tournament in Brooklyn Park, MN on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The team sent 12 bowlers to the tournament with 4 bowlers placing 1st in their division. The team is waiting on final results for their placement within the entire state. Way to Go Mustangs!

Looks and feels like winter sports season is here. Girls Basketball, Boy Hockey and Nordic Skiing got started with practice today.

Section swimming finals today. All three relays placed 9th overall. Rita Erickson placed 6th in her 200 and 7th in her 500. Abby Telander placed 15th in her 500.

Aspen Anderson was the lone diver representing OMST tonight at the section meet.

The swimming team had 12 PRs tonight at the section swim meet. Rita Erickson broke the school record in the 500 with a time of 5:36.74. The following advanced to Saturday’s finals: 200 Medley Relay - Jerah Nelson, Nora Houglum, Piper Radermacher, & Sara Wren 200 Free Relay - Jerah Nelson, Nora Houglum, Ellie Ness, & Rita Erickson 400 Free Relay - Sara Wren, Abby Telander, Ellie Ness & Rita Erickson Abby Telander & Rita Erickson both advance in the 500 free and Rita in the 200 free.

Don't forget to get your Activity Passes before the Winter season starts. Available to purchase in the District Office.

Here is a snapshot of OMST conference meet that was held in Becker Saturday, October 29th. Rita Erickson earned honorable mention for all conference in both of her individual events (200 free and the 500 free). She placed third overall. Aspen Anderson placed 6th in diving. Abby Telander placed 7th in the 500 free. The 200 free relay (Jerah Nelson, Nora Houglum, Ellie Ness, and Rita Erickson) placed 7th. The 400 free relay (Sara Wren, Abby Telander, Ellie Ness, and Rita Erickson) medaled with an 8th place finish.

Congratulations boys cross country on a great season. Good Luck to Alex who will be running in the state meet.
