Minnesota launched a statewide campaign encouraging students and families to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the beginning of the school year. We’re launching this campaign 5 weeks out from the first day of school — the length of time it takes for a student to go from their first dose of Pfizer vaccine to fully vaccinated.

Right now, only one-third of Minnesotans 12-15 years old and less than half of Minnesotans 16-17 years old are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We need your help to spread the word about this campaign and make sure everyone heading back to learn and work in our schools this fall stays safe and healthy!

  • The time to get our kids vaccinated is now! We’re 5 weeks out from the start of the school year: the length of time to make sure your child is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Find your vaccine at Vaccines.gov.
  • REMINDER! It takes five weeks to get fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine: First shot ➡️ 3 weeks ➡️ Second Shot ➡️ 2 weeks ➡️ Fully vaccinated ✅. Get your kid vaccinated now so they're protected before school starts!
  • In-person learning is critical to a child’s well-being. Getting kids vaccinated is the best way to keep our students safe and healthy while they are in school. Vax to School, Minnesota 💪. Find your shot: Vaccines.gov.
