This course trains lifeguards to act with speed and confidence in emergency situations both in and out of the water. Topics include: water rescue skills, surveillance and recognition, first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies, CPR, AED and more. 


To successfully complete the course, you must attend the entire course, participate in all skill sessions/drills, activities and scenarios, demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios, and pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80 percent.  Participants must be 15 years old by the conclusion of class. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an electronic American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/ First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. Please make sure you have a valid email listed on registration form.

Date: Friday March 9th - 5:00 pm-9:00 pm                        Saturday, March 17th – 9:00 am-5:00 pm
         Sunday, March 11th - 11:00 am-7:00 pm                  Sunday, March 18th – 11:00 am-7:00 pm
         Friday, March 16th – 5:00 pm-9:00 pm                     Sunday, March 25th - 11:00 am-7:00 pm

Cost: $225 includes Book, Red Cross Fees, whistle, CPR mask and class instruction
